Privacy Policy

This policy explains what data Pi-mon collects, why, and how you can request its removal. Pi-mon is an independently operated Discord bot. By using Pi-mon, you agree to this policy.

1. What We Collect

Pi-mon stores the following data to operate its features:

  • Server (guild) data: Discord server ID, configuration settings, and the IDs of channels, messages, and roles designated by server admins
  • User data: Discord user IDs of server members who interact with the bot or are acted upon by moderators through it, along with their claim limits, block status, and inactivity notices set by moderators
  • Character and OC data: Names of characters and original characters (OCs) submitted or claimed by users, along with their associated region, status, and timestamps
  • Reservation and submission data: History of reservations and submissions including status, timestamps, and moderator review notes
  • Tupperbox activity data (optional feature): When enabled by a server admin, Pi-mon tracks Tupperbox message counts per character per day, along with the last channel used and a link to the last message for each registered Tupper
  • Ship board data (optional feature): When enabled by a server admin, Pi-mon stores relationship "ships" between characters, including the Discord user IDs of both partners and an optional short note provided by the requester
  • Moderation logs: Records of moderation actions taken through Pi-mon, including the moderator's user ID, the target user's ID, and the reason provided

We do not collect message content, real names, email addresses, or any information beyond what is listed above.

2. Why We Collect It

All data is collected solely to operate Pi-mon's features. Character names and user IDs are needed to manage masterlists. Moderation logs exist to give server admins an audit trail. Tupperbox activity data is only collected when a server admin explicitly enables that feature.

3. How Data Is Stored

Data is stored in a private database hosted on Pi-mon's server infrastructure. It is not shared with third parties and is not sold.

4. Data Retention

Data is retained for as long as Pi-mon remains in your server. If Pi-mon is removed from a server, that server's data is eligible for deletion on request. Individual user data within a server can also be requested for deletion by the user it belongs to.

5. Your Rights

You may request:

  • A copy of the data Pi-mon holds about you
  • Deletion of your personal data from a specific server's records
  • Deletion of all data associated with your Discord user ID across all servers

To make a request, contact us at hello@pi-mon.app with your Discord user ID and the nature of your request. We will respond within 30 days.

6. Discord's Role

Pi-mon operates within Discord and receives data through Discord's API. Discord's own Privacy Policy governs how Discord handles your data before it reaches Pi-mon. We encourage you to review it at discord.com/privacy.

7. Changes to This Policy

We may update this policy as Pi-mon's features evolve. The date at the top of this page reflects the most recent revision. Continued use of Pi-mon after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
